This project marks Ancoats’ first cannabis retail build and the first cannabis dispensary for the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community.
In partnership with Shea Design, we transformed a former health food store into a high-end, welcoming retail experience that supports multiple ways for patrons to explore and purchase cannabis products—including kiosk ordering, mobile pickup, a deli-style counter, and traditional POS stations.
The front-of-house experience is shaped by fully custom millwork, from product displays to ceiling features, along with flexible seating, a water vapor fireplace, and thoughtful lighting.
Back-of-house updates include a new shipping and receiving area, enhanced security, and careful demising of existing spaces.
